I'm getting error same as link:

even though replaced the slash with dot in the database name

Hello and sorry you're getting this error. It's a known issue with the current version of Intellij. It has been resolved according to https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/DBE-15968/Support-postgres-databases-with-slash-in-database-name but is not yet available in the product. In the meantime, you can try older versions of IntelliJ work or a different tool.
